Frequently asked questions

Before you call us

We answer directly. Including questions where the answer may be uncomfortable.

We start by establishing the facts and the outcome you want to achieve. We then set out the options available, together with the costs and risks of each. We recommend one of them, but the decision is always yours.

Comprehensive advice across all key areas of law: ongoing support for businesses, transactions, real estate, employment law, intellectual property and new technologies, as well as representation in court and arbitration proceedings.

Any contracts and correspondence relating to the matter, letters from courts or public authorities together with the dates you received them, and a short timeline of events. If something is missing, don’t worry — we will work out together what else is needed.

We agree our fees before any work begins — as an hourly rate, a fixed fee for the matter or a monthly retainer for ongoing support. The scope of work and the basis for billing are confirmed in a written agreement.

We provide legal advice in English, German and Polish, and members of our team also speak Russian. We act for both Polish and international clients.

Your case is handled by the attorney-at-law you speak to — it is not passed on to someone else. Larger projects involve the whole team, but one person remains responsible for keeping in touch with you and for the progress of your matter.

It means entrusting our firm with your company’s ongoing legal work: reviewing contracts, supporting your departments and dealing with public authorities and business partners. You don’t need an in-house legal department, and billing is based on an agreed fixed fee or a set number of hours.

No. No law firm can guarantee the outcome of a case, because the decision rests with a court or public authority and depends on factors beyond our control. What we do commit to is the utmost diligence: an honest assessment of your chances, a well-prepared position and clear information about every significant risk.
