Intellectual and industrial property

A brand, content, designs and know-how are often worth more than a company’s fixed assets. We help you register them, secure them in agreements and defend them effectively when someone infringes them.

Seal and registration documents — intellectual property and trademarks

How we help

Trademark registration

We check whether a mark can be registered and whether it conflicts with earlier marks. We prepare applications to the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and conduct the proceedings.

Protecting registered rights

We file oppositions against applications for similar marks and respond to infringements before they harm the brand.

Copyright assignment and licence agreements

We prepare agreements with agencies, designers, developers and content creators so that the company really does acquire the rights to what it pays for.

Trade secrets

We draft non-disclosure agreements, clauses in contracts with employees and contractors, and internal rules for protecting know-how.

Infringement disputes

We conduct cases concerning infringement of rights to trademarks, copyright works and trade secrets, as well as acts of unfair competition: from the demand letter, through interim relief, to trial.

Who we work for

  • Companies built around a recognisable brand.
  • Creative agencies, publishers and content creators.
  • Technology and manufacturing companies with their own know-how.
  • Entrepreneurs whose brand or content has been copied.

How we work

  1. An inventory: which marks, content and solutions the company has, and who holds the rights to them.
  2. A trademark search and a recommendation on the scope of protection (territory, classes of goods and services).
  3. Filing the application and conducting the registration proceedings.
  4. Putting agreements with creators and employees in order.
  5. Responding to infringements and oppositions.

Frequently asked questions

Before you call us

Registration gives you the exclusive right to use the mark for the specified goods and services in a given territory. This makes it easier to block similar signs used by competitors and to pursue claims.

A mark filed with the Polish Patent Office protects the brand in Poland. An EU trademark, filed with the EUIPO, covers all EU member states with a single application. The choice depends on the markets where the company operates or plans to operate.

For 10 years from the filing date, renewable for further periods.

As a trade secret. However, protection requires active steps by the company: non-disclosure agreements, restricted access to information and clear rules for employees.
