Rafał Peszek graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in 2006 and completed the School of American Law there. After the professional training for Polish attorneys-at-law (aplikacja radcowska) and the Polish professional qualifying examination (egzamin radcowski) he was admitted to the Kraków Regional Chamber of Attorneys-at-Law in 2011.
He specialises in contracts, especially agreements with partners from common law jurisdictions. His knowledge of US contract practice and fluent English make it easier to negotiate agreements where the parties are used to structures different from those known in Polish law. He also advises on real estate, intellectual and industrial property, and IT, internet and new technologies.
He has very considerable experience in negotiating investment and property development loans, including security documentation and the financing terms of real estate projects, and in drafting and reviewing all kinds of contracts. He advises investors and project companies on obtaining financing and on their dealings with banks.
