IT, internet and new technologies

We advise companies that build, buy or sell technology. We prepare implementation and licence agreements, terms of digital services and data protection documentation – so that the law protects the project rather than blocking it.

How we help

Implementation and maintenance agreements

We negotiate agreements for the implementation and maintenance of systems: scope of work, schedule, acceptance procedure, service levels (SLA), liability and rights to the code.

Licences and SaaS

We prepare licence and subscription agreements and terms of use for cloud software. We check whether the licences match the way the company actually uses the software.

Terms of digital services and e-commerce

We draft terms and conditions for online shops, platforms and apps, taking into account consumer rights, returns and complaints.

Personal data protection (GDPR)

We prepare privacy notices, data processing agreements, records of processing activities and procedures. We also help when a personal data breach occurs.

Information obligations

We review websites, apps and forms for the information a company is required to give its users and customers.

New EU regulations

We advise on new European Union legislation such as the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) and the Digital Services Act (DSA).

Who we work for

  • Software houses and SaaS providers.
  • Online shops and sales platforms.
  • Companies implementing systems such as ERP or CRM.
  • Any company processing the data of customers or employees.

How we work

  1. A conversation about the product or project and how it works commercially.
  2. A review of existing agreements, terms and data flows.
  3. Draft documents tailored to the product, not generic templates.
  4. Negotiations with the supplier or the customer.
  5. Support when the product changes and when incidents occur.

Frequently asked questions

Before you call us

Under Polish law, payment alone does not transfer copyright. The client acquires the transferable economic rights where a written agreement assigns them and specifies the permitted uses (fields of exploitation). Without such an agreement, the client may have difficulty developing or selling the system.

A licence gives the right to use the work on agreed terms, while the rights stay with the author or contractor. With an assignment, the rights pass to the acquirer. The choice depends on what the company wants to do with the software.

When another company processes personal data on your behalf, for example a hosting provider, a CRM vendor or an accounting office. The agreement sets out what that entity may do with the data and how it must protect them.

Yes. A business providing services by electronic means must make its terms available, and a shop selling to consumers must also provide the information required by consumer rights legislation.
